New in E-Pustakalaya

OLE Nepal continues to enrich its E-Pustakalaya by adding various new educational materials. Famous English language stories, essays, novels and autobiographies found in the public domain have been compiled and redesigned as per the reader's convenience and added in the library. We also have some great news for Nepali Literature enthusiasts as renowned Nepali literary figure, Kamal Mani Dixit, has given us the permission to upload his books in E-Pustakalaya. Many of his collections have already been made available in E-pustakalaya. Paying attention to diversity of languages in Nepal, we have also acquired books written in Nepal Bhasa (Newari) for our library. We are very thankful to Mr. Tilak Prakash for providing us with seven books. In addition to e-books, the number of audiobooks is also on the rise. Over the past three months, 37 new audiobooks, which includes basic level chants and english teaching tips developed by National Center for Educational Development, have been added to our repository.

We are also starting with its own publication. OLE Nepal has a collection of children’s stories gathered through workshops held in different parts of Nepal. The selected stories will be illustrated, edited and published through our website. At the moment the team is working on illustration of the stories

Alongside increasing new titles in E-Pustakalaya, we are also working on updating the existing contents. Currently, the team is working on adding updated version of School Wikipedia. The current version contains more than 6000 articles, 26 million words and 50,000 images, thereby making it a huge source of information for school children. Explore E-Pustakalaya.
