Welcome our new Bajhang Volunteers
Deepesh Thapa: Deepesh holds Bachelors of Engineering in Electronics. Through this volunteering opportunity, he wishes to utilize this time in a constructive way by learning and contributing as much he can towards the field of education. He aims to work with the students and gain the first hand experience of the learning environment where students are part of the educational digital world.
Ravindra Kumar Sah: “A community of like minded people working together to enhance the quality of education through technology motivated me to join OLE Nepal.” says our new volunteer Ravindra. He has recently completed his high schooling and is looking forward to his further studies in USA. However, before starting his undergraduate studies, he wishes to develop his abilities and attitude through the opportunities to support the communities in Bajhang.
Shambhu Bhattarai: Shambhu holds a Bachelors degree from Tri-Chandra Campus. As a part of OLE Nepal, he wishes to contribute towards development sector of the country. With the digital learning contents from E-Paath and E-Pustakalaya, he wishes to enhance the learning process of the kids in rural areas and ultimately become a part of the change.
Suman Adhikari: Suman holds a Bachelor in Electronics and Communication Engineering from National College of Engineering, Kathmandu. Passionate about technology, Suman intends to use this opportunity to explore the impacts of ICT in education provided across public schools of rural Nepal. Suman traveled to the E-Pustakalaya schools in Gorkha to provide technical support before signing up go to Bajhang for two months.
Our short-term volunteers
Ashok Shrestha: A native of Gorkha, Ashok finished his HSEB exams from Bhawani Higher Secondary School, Palungtar in management stream this year. During his time as a volunteer, he will mainly focus on providing technical support to schools where E-Pustakalaya servers have been deployed in Gorkha.
Aarjan Rupakheti: Aarjan, a first year A-levels student from Rato Bangala School is assisting both the E-Pustakalaya and technical teams in editing books and setting up XO laptops. With a positive attitude and confidence, he wishes to contribute through his skills of writing essays in editing books for our digital library.

Bibek Maharjan, an IT enthusiasts, joined the OLE Nepal team as an intern almost a year ago. He contributed a whole lot towards technical and content development and also provided support in deployments and field visits to project districts. He has recently joined Khwopa Engineering College, and we wish him all the best for his higher studies and beyond.

Wangdi Sherpa, our intern for almost a year, was highly involved in both deployment and E-pustakalaya team. He volunteered his time during laptop projects in different districts as well as assisted in digitizing books for E-Pustakalaya. With his smart personality, he completed the assigned duties with ease. Currently, he is undertaking Bachelors degree and we wish him all the best for his further studies.
