Kamana RegmiMrs. Regmi has over 14 years of experience teaching mathematics and science at the primary level, as well as training primary school teachers. Her duties include assessing the applicability of existing open-source education materials, guiding the development of new materials, and determining how to best integrate our materials into Nepali classrooms.
Christine Stone, Curriculum Expert
Christine StoneChristine has over 25 years of working in Nepal, Christine has worked in all aspects of education, from teaching English and math in Gorkha and Namjung to writing textbooks with the Secondary Education Project in Sano Thimi. Stone also works with the Kathmandu International Study Center (KISC) and Room to Read.

Most recently she wrote math textbooks for Grades 5 and 6. She is a native of the U.K. Read more about her in a great article from the Nepali Times.
Punyasheel Gautan, Curriculum Expert
Punyasheel Gautam

Punyashil is a distinguished artist, art educator, and teacher trainer. He has been using his experience to help the development team make learning activities that meet the needs of teachers, Nepali students, and are beautiful. Punyashil helped found the prestigious Rato Bangala School in Kathmandu.

Bipul Gautam, Teacher Training Coordinator
Bipul has extensive experience co-ordinating and conducting teacher training programs. His responsibilities include preparing teacher training packages and co-ordinating/conducting teacher training programs for the teachers from our test schools. In addition, he also helps the content development team in preparing interactive activity descriptions in Nepali.
Om Prakash Yadav, Content Design Coordinator
Om Prakash YadavOm coordinates the content development team. He also conceptualizes and designs graphics for our learning activities. He has more than eight years of experience in the field of graphic design.
Aayush Poudel, Software Engineer
Aayush PoudelAayush has a bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering from Kathmandu Engineering College. He has been working as a software engineer for the past three years. He is a cricket and football fan.
Biplab Singh, Software Engineer

Biplab SinghBiplab has done bachelor's degree in Computer Science and has been into programming for almost two years. He loves to play and watch all sorts of games that he can understand. He really loves Rock 'n' Roll music and is an avid fan of Deep Purple (Ritchie Blackmore) and ACDC (Angus Young).

Ram Krishna Singh, Software Engineer
Ram Krishna SinghRam has been a software engineer for eight years. He earned his Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from the Bapuji Institute of Engineering in India.

For the last several years he has been the acting chairman in Shree Shanti Vidyashram school management committee, located in Patan Dhoka. Recently, he managed the renovation and reconstruction of the school. He is also an active member of the local group “Maitri Parivar” whose sole aim is to provide much needed financial support to educate poor and destitute of remote villages.He also likes to work on micro-hydroelectric projects for rural Nepal.

Suday MaharjanSudaya has a bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Kathmandu Engineering College. He has been working as a software engineer. For several years he has been an executive member of the KEC - IT Club.

Surendra SedhaiSurendra earned his degree in Electronics Engineering from the Institute of Engineering, Pulchowk Campus in Lalitpur, Nepal.

Doug Mayeux,
Doug MayeuxDough is a senior student at the University of Texas at Austin, studying Government and History. After graduating from high school, he studied as an opera major at Ohio State University for a year and a half, before returning to Dallas. Six months later, he joined the Air Force, and served as a weather forecaster for 6 years.

Dough is volunteering for us; documenting our efforts, testing software and helping to build a virtual library.
Ties Stuij, Software Engineer
Ties StuijTies is a full-time volunteer from the Netherlands. He was a dedicated Common Lisp hacker until he discovered the beauty of Squeak. He is particularly interested in the ways OLE Nepal's work can help create a more egalitarian society.
Luke Gorrie, Software Engineer Emeritus
Luke GorrieLuke grew up in Australia, spent a long time living in Sweden, and came to Kathmandu with the plan of pushing One Laptop Per Child forward as best he can. He volunteered six months of his life from September 2007 until February 2008 to help to kickstart OLE Nepal in Kathmandu. We are indebted to him.

Asmita and Priyata are our youngest friends. They contribute to content development by recording audio clips for our learning activities. They are also initial evaluators of our learning activities.
Asmita studies in grade 4 at Rato Bangala School. She loves reading and playing with puppies.
Priyata studies in grade 2 at St. Xavier's school. Her favorite past time is playing with her friends.
