Summary

We are seeking a Machine Learning & Data Annotation Intern to join our iOCR team. The intern will collaborate closely with our ML Engineer on various tasks, including data annotation, model fine-tuning, creation of templates/guidelines and development of prototypes. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about machine learning/computer vision and eager to gain hands-on experience in a real-world work setting.

Responsibilities:

As an intern, s/he will be responsible for:

• Collect, preprocess, and annotate large image datasets for training and evaluation of machine learning models.
• Documenting problems encountered during data annotation and communicating them to the development team, engaging in discussions to find solutions for improving the data quality.
• Train, fine-tune and evaluate machine learning models and conduct experiments to optimize model performance and efficiency.
• Collaborate to integrate machine learning algorithms into existing software systems.

Required Experience and Skills:

• Decent knowledge of Python language & familiarity with web development frameworks like Flask/Fast API.
• Preferably have knowledge of Machine Learning/Deep Learning and deep learning frameworks like Tensorflow/PyTorch.
• Ability to work on repetitive tasks efficiently and effectively with minimal errors.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and with little supervision.
• Education requirement: +2 pass with interest in IT or students who are waiting for bachelor results are more preferred.
