About the Position

The Software Developer will be an integral to developing user-centric designs for the HRK and Seepalaya apps, employing a blend of functional components.. This role involves collaborating closely with UI/UX and multimedia designers, as well as content experts to develop educational tools, ensuring they are accessible, engaging, and effective for diverse learners. The position requires a dynamic individual who is adept at bringing design ideas to life, documenting and maintaining software functionality, with a keen willingness to learn and adapt within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities:

• Execute full lifecycle software development, including verification plans and quality assurance procedures
• Write well designed, testable, efficient code
• Integrate software components into a fully functional software system
• Document and maintain software functionality
• Implementation of user interfaces with a focus on usability, performance, and accessibility.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and backend developers to translate requirements into technical specifications.
• Study and debug web applications in order to improve performance and to enforce standard coding practices
• Troubleshoot and debug complex issues to ensure smooth performance of web applications across different browsers and devices.
• Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and sprint planning meetings to ensure high code quality and adherence to coding standards.
• Integrate localization and translation mechanisms to provide a seamless experience for users in different language preferences.
• Coordinate with the System Admin or DevOps team for both online and offline version releases.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Information Technology or equivalent.

Requirements:

• Proven more than one year of relevant experience in JavaScript and React Technology.
• Experience in Javascript and JavaScript Framework( React, Jquery), Redux, Web markup language(HTML/HTML5, XML) and CSS.
• Experience in working with using Responsive Web Design frameworks like Bootstrap , Tailwind , Material UI.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling.
• Experience in working with cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.
• Experience with modern Front-End development tools (NPM, WebPack, Babel, etc)
• Experience in code versioning tools, such as Git, SVN.
• Good experience in code refactoring.
• First level of effort estimation for feature; interface with system architects to understand the impact of the system level features on the modules
• Able to understand the impact of front-end implications in system performance
• Developed software in SCRUM environment using Agile methodologies and involved in SDLC process.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
