OLE Nepal is working together with the KDDI Foundation and CityNet Yokohama (Japan) to launch an innovative program for home-based learning using shared technology for children without access to technology in Lalitpur. Through this program, children will be able to check out devices containing digital learning activities from schools on a rotational basis and continue learning at home together with textbooks and worksheets provided to them.

The program received full endorsement from the mayor of Lalitpur Metropolitan City (LMC), Mr. Chiribabu Maharjan, at a meeting today that was attended by representatives from KDDI Foundation, CityNet, OLE Nepal and LMC education section. Mr. Maharjan has assured full support from the LMC in all aspects of the program.
