The Robotics project, initiated by OLE Nepal on May 1, 2024, and concluded on February 15, 2025, was designed to introduce an interactive and engaging STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) education platform to students in government schools within Lalitpur Metropolitan City. The primary objective was to address the limited exposure to practical, hands-on learning opportunities in Nepal’s public education system, particularly for students from underprivileged backgrounds. By integrating robotics into the curriculum, the project aimed to enhance students’ problem-solving abilities, foster logical reasoning, and cultivate creative thinking, all while providing an enjoyable learning experience.

Open Learning Exchange Nepal recently conducted one-day refresher training sessions for teachers across six schools in Kathmandu, Nuwakot, and Sindhupalchok between November 2024 and January 2025, in collaboration with Rotary Tripureshwor. These sessions aimed to address challenges, update digital content, and provide technical support to boost ICT integration in classrooms.

In a move to enhance digital learning in rural schools, Open Learning Exchange (OLE) Nepal, in collaboration with Himalaya Hilfe Friburge (HHF), successfully conducted a four-day teacher training program at Shree Dharmathma Secondary School, East Nawalparasi, from December 30, 2024 – January 2, 2025. This initiative aimed to equip teachers with ICT skills and integrate digital learning resources into classrooms.

As part of our digital library program, supported by the Rotary Club of Maharajgunj, OLE Nepal conducted a two-day teacher training from 29-30 November, 2024 at Azad Secondary School, Panchkhal, Kavre. The training equipped 35 teachers with essential ICT skills to enhance classroom learning.

In partnership with Autism Care Chitwan Society (ACCS), our digital library program hosted a four-day teacher training session at CMT Hotel in Bharatpur on October 24-27, 2024. The session empowered 30 participants—including 26 new teachers from 13 program schools, mentors, and government officials—to effectively integrate technology into their classrooms and elevate digital learning.
