OLE Nepal successfully conducted a three-day Digital Teaching and Learning Training for teachers from community schools of Phaktanglung Rural Municipality, Taplejung. The training was organized by Phase Nepal with financial support from Himalayan Development Foundation Australia (HDFA), in coordination with Phaktanglung Rural Municipality, Taplejung.
The training was hosted at Shree Saraswati Chyaribook Secondary School, Phaktanglung in Lelep. This is the first of its kind in the district that equipped 24 dedicated educators and partners with the tools to transform their classrooms using interactive digital platforms like E-paath and E-pustakalaya using tablets. Through dynamic, hands-on workshops, server configurations, and peer-teaching practices, teachers from Saraswati Chyaribuk Secondary School and Sinwa Secondary School gained the expertise and confidence to integrate technology into the national curriculum seamlessly, even without internet connectivity.
We extend our deepest gratitude to the Phaktanglung Rural Municipality, Phase Nepal, our facilitators, and the participating teachers for their incredible commitment to bridging the digital divide and creating engaging, student-centered learning environments for the youth of Taplejung!
